predation. Relocated the remaining 146 Eggs.

Nest #25 Mary G., Phyllis C. and Micki M. just above the wrack line

the dune line. This turtle came up at high tide at 19:00 the evening
before and wore two flipper tags, RRJ766 & RRJ769. Karen
Natoli shot some video and Gary Braatz took
some pictures of her.

Sunday, July 6th
Nest #27 Found by the Roseler family on
the sandbar opposite POA#13 (Winter Trout). Janie
L, Kaelin, Sean, and, Laura marked it off. As the picture indicates
after nesting she was disoriented possibly because there was water
on all sides but she figured it out. Since
the nest was more than 12 hours old we had little choice but to leave it in
situ until July 30 when it was relocated to the area south of POA #5.

island visitor prompted us to take a closer look at the area in question
and Karen N. found the nest chamber. Since

assisted in relocating 115 eggs to POA #4 (Red Drum North) adjacent to Nest #29.
