Have you shopped at CAPA's Closet?

Thrift Shop News
Volunteers and staff at CAPA’s Closet in Midtown Village on Parris Island Gateway are working hard to compete with all the other thrift shops that have spring up.  What is most needed is a suitable location.  Currently, our rent takes away an amount monthly equal to what CAPA’s programs receive.  Have a building in mind?  Please share any solutions...We need approximately 3000 square feet with good frontage and truck accessibility.  We now take donations of working appliances, especially washers and dryers.  Families enrolled in our Parent Support Program receive a free washer and dryer upon completion of our program.  This enables them to reduce the cost of maintaining clothing and linens for their family and better utilize their funds for basic needs such as housing, food and transportation.

CAPA’S CLOSET is in Midtown Village Center next to Bi-Lo on Parris Island Gateway in Port Royal .

We pick up furniture and appliances in good working order.  We also accept donations of clothing and household items at the store.

Opened in 1996, the shop provides an outlet for donated clothing and household goods. The profits from the shop are used to fund the operation of the agency. Volunteers man the shop which is open Monday through Saturday.
