Beaufort High School Interact Club
Policies for 2006-2007
- Meetings will be held every Thursday in the auditorium and will begin promptly at 2:45.
- 60% attendance of meetings is required.
- If a member misses 3 consecutive meetings, he/she will no longer be considered part of the club. In order to be readmitted, the member must talk to an officer or advisor and attend the upcoming adopt-a-highway.
- Each member is required to complete a minimum of 12 service hours a year; at least 6 hours a semester.
- Each member is also required to complete 1 adopt-a-highway per semester. The hour it takes to complete this project will not be included in the 6 hours needed per semester.
- If a member signs up for an event and does not attend, one hour will be deducted from his/her total service hours. Once a member reaches –2 hours, he/she will no longer be considered a part of the club.
- A reflection sheet must be completed for every event that a member attends. If a reflection sheet is not turned in, hours will not be granted to that member.
- Reflection sheets will be available at every meeting.
- If any member does not meet these requirements he/she will no longer be a part of the Interact Club 2006-2007.
