US Online Roaming Instructions:
ISLC Is pleased to announce a partnership with USOnline.com ISP
internet services. Through this partnership, ISLC is now able to offer a LOCAL
telephone number in over 14,000 cities and using 130 Internet Service Providers,
ALL with your same ISLC Account!
When traveling within the U.S., ISLC customers can visit this
page, or click the button on the ISLC homepage, to search for local numbers in
the city they are visiting. For example, if you were to visit Buffalo, NY, you
would click on the Search Button
on our homepage. You would then see this screen:

When you click on the button on the homepage, You will need to
select the city first, then click the "GO" button. However, the following
instructions will work the same.
In the Search screen, select NY, and hit the "Display Cities"
Button. You will then be presented with a city selection screen. From this screen,
choose Buffalo. You will then see a list of local telephone numbers, for that
area.

Once you have found a number local for you, we need to create
a new Dial Up Networking connection for you.. (Please note, you WILL need to change
this back to the original when returning home.)

Open "My Computer" in Windows 95/98 and Windows 98SE.

Open "Dial Up Networking"

At this point, we want to create a new dialup for you. Click on
"make new connection."

On the first screen, enter the name for it, please call the connection
"ISLC AWAY." Click Next.

On the next screen, Leave the area code blank, or delete the area
code if one is exists. Enter the phone number. In this example for Buffalo, NY,
enter 566-6500 and click next.

It will then tell you you have successfully created a new connection
called "ISLC AWAY." Click finish.

At this point, we want to create a shortcut for ISLC AWAY on your
desktop. Right click on ISLC, and Click "Create Shortcut." It will inform
you it cannot create it there, would you like to create it on the desktop instead?
Say Yes to this, and close the Window.

Then, right click one more time on ISLC AWAY, and click on "Properties."

In Windows 95/98 and 98 SE, click on the tab labeled "Server
Types."

UNCHECK ALL items except "Enable Software Compression"
and "TCP/IP." Click "OK".

Close the window, returning you to the desktop.

When connecting on the road, FIRST dial in, by selecting the the
Shortcut we created. Change your username, to your FULL EMAIL ADDRESS (Ie. support@islc.net)

Leave the password the same, and click connect. The Computer will
then dial the local Provider, But will check with ISLC's Servers for access, and
let you on the net. Once your Computer tells you you are connected, browse or
check email as normal.
That's it! You are now ready to surf the net, in even MORE cities
with your ISLC account! Remember, check your numbers BEFORE you travel, and
save yourself the long distance call!
