The Fripp Island Property Owners Association (FIPOA) is in charge of Security; roads and rights-of-way along those roads; the Architectural Review Board, which has purview over all single family residences; covenants for all single family residences; public beach crossovers; lagoons not on golf courses; bridges, with the exception of the Inlet Bridge, although we collect the money for it and pass it along to the PSD; Davis Love Park; Audubon Park; common green space at the front of the island and down the southeast side of Tarpon; the Water Tower garden; common green space in all subdivisions; The Trawler; decals for owners, renters, Club members and contractors; guest passes and all access to the island.
The Public Service District (PSD) is responsible for water, sewer, fire, erosion, and the Inlet Bridge.
The Fripp Island Club oversees the Club facilities, which are owned and operated by the Fripp Island Golf & Beach Resort. The facilities under auspices of the Club are: the Ocean Point and Ocean Creek Golf Courses, their pro shops and meeting rooms; the Racquet Club; Recreation/Activities Center, Creek House, Wardle's Landing; Marina Store, ramp, dock, storage and pool; Cabana Club facilities; Beach Club Complex which includes the Sand Bar, Olympic and Adult Pool and surrounding areas; Bonito Boathouse Restaurant; the 19th Hole; Ocean Point Grill and the Ocean Point pool. Membership in the Club consists of individuals who pay an initiation fee and annual dues. Membership makes the private Club facilities available to the Club members and their guests.
The Community Centre is the hub for organization and club meetings such as the Women's Club, the Audubon Club, the Yacht Club and Friend's of Music. It is also home to weekly Bingo and Duplicate Bridge games as well as Mah Jongg, the Artist's Guild and Yoga. The All Faiths Chapel is home to the Wednesday night Vesper Services. The Community Centre is the venue for many fundraisers, concerts, and weddings.

Fripp Island Architectural Review Board (FIARB): The purpose of the Architectural Review Board is to implement covenants and carry forth responsibility of design review set forth in the restrictive covenants of Fripp Island. The FIPOA Board of Directors appoints the ARB.
ARB meetings are held the first and third Thursday of each month at 9am in the FIPOA Boardroom.
Submittals must be received in the FIPOA office by 4:30 pm the Tuesday prior to the meeting. If not received by 4:30 pm it may be deferred to the next meeting of the Board. Fripp Island Public Service District (FIPSD): The Fripp Island Public Service District is a special purpose local
government created by the South Carolina Legislature to serve the residents and property owners of Fripp Island, South Carolina. Services provided include water supply, wastewater collection and treatment,
fire protection, beach erosion control, and the operation and maintenance of the Fripp Inlet Bridge.
An elected, six-member commission governs the District. The Commission establishes policies and procedures, approves the annual budget and adopts the necessary utility rates and tax levies to fund the District's operations. The District's manager, hired by the Commission, has responsibility for the District's overall operations. The District's fire chief is responsible for the operation of the fire department, which includes emergency medical services and beach rescue as well as fire prevention.
The District is organized into three departments: water and wastewater, fire, and erosion and bridge. The water and wastewater department is funded predominantly through user charges (utility rates) similar to a private business enterprise. The fire department and erosion and bridge department are funded exclusively by taxes.

Fripp Island Club: The Fripp Island Club is a private Club that owns and operates the amenities on Fripp Island.
Access to amenities is available to Fripp Island Club Members, Fripp Island Resort Lodging Division guests and club card holding guests of Fripp Island Club Members.
