The Franciscan Center is a Diocese of Charleston Outreach to the poor people in the Beaufort-Lady's Island-St. Helena Island area. The Center is staffed by two Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia: Sisters Sheila Byrne and Stella Breen. The Sisters live at the Center as a Gospel Witness, and provide services to the needy of the area.

The Ministry that we provide to the Black and Hispanic communities is carried out with the help of more than sixty volunteers, and the generosity of those who support us through "Manna" Gift Certificates, and Monetary Donations.
