Since this nest was laid within the wrack line that defines the Spring High Tide zone and is and subject to flooding 111 eggs were relocated to area just north of POA 6 .

Katherine H. and Karen N. found 107 eggs in zone 2 between POA 12 and POA 13. Since it was deposited in a low area the nest was relocated to an area between POA 14 & POA 15.

Sue B. and Betsy K. found a nesting loggerhead, in front of John Fripp Villas, still laying at 06:30. They relocated the nest of 110 eggs to the area between POA 14 and POA 15.

Nest 5, Sunday 5/25

Rich C. and Karen N. found 151 eggs Sunday, May 25th in Zone 1 south of POA 2.

This turtle had found her way into the brush and laid her nest at the base of a small tree. The egg chamber was dug off center and the track showed only three flippers so we think she was missing her right rear flipper or at least part of it.

They relocated 151 eggs to the area just north of POA 6.

Mary G., Darnell K., and Susan B. found Nest 6 Monday, May 26th in Zone 1 just south of POA 2 and below the spring tide wrack line.

135 eggs were relocated to an area just north of POA 6.

Biggest nest of the season.

In a driving rainstorm, and with the help of Steve Eyler and his umbrella, Susan B. and Mary G. relocated 116 eggs to an area just south of POA 6.

Susan B., Betsy K., Megan E. and Molly E. located this nest in Zone 2. The nest was left "in situ" just south of POA 10, about 20 yards past the high-tide line. Megan and Molly Eyler saw the turtle laying and then returning to the ocean after 02:00.

Molly and Megan observed this turtle as she was finishing up and returning to the sea.

Charlotte Hope located this nest in Zone 1 north of POA 2 and left it "in situ" well behind the wrack line on a small rise.

Betsy K. and Gary B. found nest 54 in the wrack line at POA 4. 49 eggs were relocated to a slope north of POA 2.
